Sweet: Fifi is a kind babu, so long as you treat him the same way, he is quite considerate of others and is very compassionate.
Quirky: He has quite a few odd quirks about him, mostly because the concept of "normal" was something he never had a proper example of. If scolded for a behavior though, he will take it to heart and try to do differently in the future.
Curious: He is always up for seeing or doing something new, and loves to explore, whether it's a reef he's never been to or an abandoned factory in the city.
Defensive: As per his aggressive genes, Fifi will not put up with being hassled, and won't hesitate to make his agitation known. He is wary of stronger tibu though, and if verbal warnings and fin flaring doesn't get them off his case, he is much more likely to turn tail and make a break for it than try to put up a fight.
Cautious: Fifi does not like dark water, nooo no no. He's only ever had one traumatic experience in his entire life, which was the attack of a Great White Shark that had swum up into his reef a few weeks ago. He was naive to the potential of the ocean's danger until that day.
Lonely?: Fifi seems to have bad luck with making good friends who stick around, as well as with mates. His first attempt at a serious relationship a few years ago was sorely disappointing, leaving him slightly bitter as far as romantic pursuits. He is rarely depressed though, and maintains his optimism even if sometimes he feels uncertain, cause everyone has their ups and downs right?
Shy: Hella shy u7u mostly only when it comes to being hit on though. If you're just standing there that's fine, but if you be smirkin and touchin he is liable to flip his shit //ming

History ;;
Fimochka was born in the waters around a very small tropical island, dumped there to fend for himself just like any fish. He lived on and around the island for a few decades, too timid to try to explore the waters that lay beyond his ten foot deep, crystal clear home. One day though, an odd item drifted to his shore, a jewelry box containing stones and metals of color and luster that he’d never dreamed existed. He was awe struck and overcome with curiosity of the rest of the world and what it must be like, and so eventually set off to discover that the rest of civilization existed only a few miles away. He was dazzled by the cities and all the different people, and the other Tibumeru, how amazingly colorful and different and fascinating they were. He immediately fell in love with pop culture, dressing in all different patterns and colors and going out to see all sorts of places. He learned of the relations between humans and Tibumeru, found a niche for himself, and settled down to begin his life among the rest of his kind.

Legend ;; Tibumeru are descendants of human babies who’s genes were spliced with fish, and the mutants were way more successful than the scientists thought they would be and ended up escaping to breed on their own. Humans experiment with genes all the time, it’s the most logical explanation.

-He’s a mix between Betta and Lionfish, gorgeous but aggressive. He isn’t one to pick fights but if he feels threatened he will become extremely defensive, flaring his fins and spines and flinging curses and threats. The venom in the tips of his spines isn’t terribly strong, but they can cause an itchy, burning wound that will have a hard time healing. i.e., it works best against those who try to eat him. The poison can be neutralized by saliva, and sucking it out is the most effective treatment.
-He has ball piercings on his navel and on his tongue. Also, his tongue is purple.
-His favorite fish to eat are Barred Knifejaw, since he can then use their stripey skin to patch up his hands.
-He possesses quite a lot of silver pieces and keeps them stashed under his floor boards.
-He lives in a decrepit but nice little beach house over looking the shore. The house was abandoned when the area of ocean around it was declared an aquatic nature preserve. Directly in front of the house is a very large coral reef, and people wishing to use its location for commercial purposes are not allowed to tresspass.
-He is Thatcher’s ex, though they are still friends. Or, frenemies more like. (Thatcher is my secondary Tibu, I’ll get around to submitting him eventually)

Fimochka: Hmn, he wasn’t sure where he was again. Fifi had wandered inland simply looking for something to do, since he’d already spent his entire morning scouring his beach for shiny objects and pretty things. He’d already eaten, already bathed… Now he was just bored. Where were all the people at? eAe He needed to make more friends, man “--Eh?” Hey-- What was that? His fins perk as his eyes become fixed on something orange that was sticking out from underneath a bench, and was twitching and flicking back and forth… He squints as he steps closer, the object slooowly coming into focus, when he realized-- “Kitty! ” Uuu it had been so long since he’d last seen a stray kitty!! As quietly as he could, he sneaks up on the bench, only to freeze as the tail disappeared further underneath it once he was a few feet away. He gasps as he flinches, “W-wait! ” and trots the rest of the way over, dropping to all fours and peering underneath the bench. Oh oh!! He was still there! A little fluffy orange tabby cat! The end of his tail begins to sway as he watched the kitty lay down and roll around on the side walk, smiling and biting his lip as he tried not to whine with delight. _{”Ohhh you’re so cute…! C’mere honey boo boo, purr meow meow…!”} He coos softly to the cat as he carefully reaches out for it, grunting as he stretched his arm, but, he um… Couldn’t seem to reach _{“Eh? …Ehh… Fuck! K-kitty kitty come heeere Pleeease?”} The cat only watched Fifi as he struggled to reach farther, his tail rising as he stretched his back and beginning to lash the air with agitation as the cement started to hurt his knees and make him cold... Wh… Why was life so unfair?!

Fimochka: Oh-- A little jellyfish~! Weird, he usually didn't see these around cliffs, the waves were too harsh for them. Though it seemed that the waters here were just calm enough, since the cliffs formed barriers against the stronger tides. He reaches out and snatches the little thing, smiling as he squeezed it. If it were anything besides a jellyfish, he might have felt bad about harassing it, but he was fairly convinced that the weird little wads of goo couldn't feel pain. Much like himself. He couldn't feel a single sting. Ah? But it seemed he was already bleeding o^o He felt the pulses of the jellyfish's body slowly come to a stop, succumbing to the poison in his blood, before opening his hands to let it float limply to the sea floor, watching as it went. "...There it goes..." He blinks slowly, his expression rather somber... He blinks several times as he snaps out of it though, wondering why the dead jelly had affected him this way when he'd never cared before. He sighs internally. Maybe it was just that he wanted some company... Even if said company was a mindless invertebrate. He peers around, his fins perking as he spotted two more jellyfish, and made his way over with a flick of his tail. This time he only swam in a circle around them, watching them and occasionally stroking the tops of their bells with a finger tip. Heh~ They were so squishy and cute~ He found himself smiling as he observed them and pushed them around with his palms, hoping they would last a little longer since the venom leaking from the small abrasions on his fingers was dissipating through the water as he moved.
